Q: What inspired you to make this piece?
A: My inspiration came from walking the city with a camera. It's that simple. I try to do it with open eyes and mind. Years ago, a fine street photographer named Leon Levinstein told me that parades were always a good place to shoot and that led, indirectly, to the opening of this piece.
