Q: What is the relationship between your work as a video/filmmaker and life in the New York metropolitan area?
A: New York is a dynamic and stimulating city, but it can also be an exhausting place to live and work. At times, I navigate through New York with tunnel vision, as a way of conserving my energy. I enjoyed making this piece because it encouraged me to look around the city again, and I discovered some really wonderful moments that felt so unique to New York. The visual landscape is rich and multilayered, and it's fascinating to see a diverse mix of people sharing public spaces together. I am always inspired by the incredible talent and creativity that exists in New York.
