Q: What inspired you to make this piece?
A: I was interested in doing an observational visual collage of New York City -- a piece that engaged with my environment and challenged me to see my surroundings in a new, fresh way. So I began the project without a definitive agenda. I traveled through the city with my camera and allowed the piece to evolve in a loose, spontaneous way.
