In this clever take on the pressures of the urban rat race, Alex, a struggling writer, wakes up to discover that his girlfriend has left him and the entire city of New York is moving in fast motion. Finding his bearings in a world remarkably similar to that of the science fiction novel he's working on, Alex and his new friend, Sunny, who shares his predicament, traverse the now-dangerous borough of Manhattan looking for a cure.
