The 10th season of Thirteen's REEL NEW YORK independent film and video series is being celebrated with a collection of new works created especially for the occasion as well as vintage productions that offer a timeless kaleidoscope of the city that the participating artists call home. Encompassing every genre -- from narrative to documentary and from animation to experimental -- this annual event has become a highly anticipated tradition at the station. This year's lineup features more than 30 short and feature-length works by local filmmakers.
