This short is an experiment in night photography of Coney Island.
Filmmaker and published poet Sol Rubin is the recipient of six Cannes Film Festival awards. Rubin was a US combat outfit in the African-European campaigns of WWII, where he wrote war poems in numerous foxholes and army evacuation hospitals. His book, War Vignettes, is currently in its seventh printing. Rubin taught film courses at Brooklyn College and has exhibited his still photography at the United Nations and a number of public libraries.
