Vilna: Black and white images tell a story all their own.
Directed by Harvey Wang
Original; beautifully conceived and shot; a great story.
A small poetic, but at the same time dark cinematographic essay on how one remembers a love lost. The images are as if sampled from expressionist movies and news reels from the thirties and forties. They refer, as I see it, to the gruesome history of Vilnius and they give this short about love a haunting undercurrent. All this in a few minutes! Congratulations.
I enjoyed watching the imagery. It was very sensual. Beautifully made.
love does reside above the clouds..
