An elderly Brooklyn man struggles as an umbrella street salesman during a drought.
Directed by Kevin Slack.
Beautifully done. Lovingly shot and performed. Nice choice of locations and details. I loved the old Verve label! And the lesson that the film teaches, that the new may be popular, but the old is still valued (and needed).
This film is amazing! So beautifully done and poignant! I love it!
That babe w/ the white gloves is DEATH. She gon take his ass. Great stuff.
Enjoyed it very much! Was captured right from the start. Not knowing what was going to happen, I found myself saying “please rain” It was nice to see that the younger street salesman cared for him, and tried to be helpful. It also showed the sadness, and loneliness that “our” elderly go through. Great Short Film! Glad it rained
Beautifully done. I enjoyed your short film very much. Is very refreshing to see a young person caring for an elderly man. It portrays so much in a short time. Good luck!
Very nice film.
Kevin is a powerful visualist and this film is a testament to his talents as a filmmaker
Loved it. Made me really care about the old man and what would become of him
i Loved the humanity of this film great directing and cinematography and grand acting. i AM DISAPOINTED IN CHANNEL 13 SHOWING IT AT 12:30 PM. THIS MAKES IT 4/29, NOT 4/28 AS ADVERTIZED. A REAL LET DOWN FOR ALL WHO VOTED AND WANTED TO HAVE A FILM VIEWING PARTY. SHORT SUBJECTS TRADITIONALY GET SHOWN AHEAD OF THE FEATURE NOT AT THE END.
