Reverie tells the story of a little girl who’s sitting bored in a car and waiting for her mother to finish shopping in a supermarket.
Directed by: Jaro Minne
Charming and beautifully shot!
Very well shot. Very sweet. However, I used to live in Europe, and even parents over there frown upon leaving young children unattended in car parks.
I think that the car was merely a devise for the story, more as a location that prevented the girl from leaving, and joining the boy.
This is creepy. I worried throughout that something awful was going to happen to her. Also not impressed with mother leaving the kid in the car.
Cinamatography and framing that matches any dramatic film at the Oscars! Exceptional work!
Didn’t care for the child being left in the car but it shows the power of her imagination. That’s what makes this special. The choices the child used to imagine we’re hers and that brings her comfort. Good short
