Don’t Come Knocking

Air Date: Saturday August 29th, 2009 at 9 pm on THIRTEEN

Described as a comedy, a drama, a road movie and a western, Don’t Come Knocking stars Sam Shepard as Howard Spence, a washed-up movie star trapped in his lifestyle by self-pity and destructive habits. When Spence flees on horseback from the set of a western he agreed to star in and hits the road outside Moab, Utah, he starts to discover the world that, over the last few decades, he had isolated himself from. Pursued by the film’s insurance agent (Tim Roth), Spence makes his way to Butte, Montana in the hope of reuniting with a woman he had left behind decades before (Jessica Lange).

Directed by Wim Wenders from a script by Sam Shepard.
