The In-Laws

Synopsis:

Sheldon Kornpett (Alan Arkin) is an anxious Manhattan dentist who just wants to get through his daughter’s wedding in one piece. Unfortunately, she’s marrying the son of Vince Ricardo (Peter Falk), who may or may not be a certifiably insane rogue CIA agent. Arkin and Falk are unforgettable in this Odd Couple meets James Bond comedy classic.

Director: Arthur Hiller

Hiller was born in Alberta and graduated from the University of Toronto in 1947. He began his show business career in television for the CBC in Toronto in the 1950s, and was a successful television director before moving to Hollywood, where he directed The Out of Towners (1970), Man of La Mancha (1972), and Author!
