Rocky is my favorite boxing movie for many reasons, Neil Gabler. In question of the week. Raging Bull is second. Born and raised in Philadelphia, then moving to N.Y. I can relate to Rocky in more ways than you could imagine. Fortunately in much nicer sections than in the movie, riding the “elevated trains”, and being proud of my hometown that I visited in the early fall sightseeing in the historic parts order three days and loving it. I feel like a Philadelphian who lived in NY for 10.5 years and am now in N J but right on the Hudson River next to the GWB Bridge, so still very much a tri state person. Rocky was very personal to me since my husband brought me to NY and then on the river in NJ. He is deceased but I’m still here. We saw and loved Rocky together in NY where we sw it.
I would live to see “Sudden Fear” with Joan Crawford.
Please!!! Thank you for reading this post!!
