At Queensboro Plaza, switch to N, head to Broadway
OPA! No trip to Queens would be complete without a trip up to Astoria for some baklava. Astoria boasts the largest Greek population outside of Athens. The Greek cafes and restaurants that line Broadway in Astoria are a special treat.
Steinway Street with over 300 stores has been dubbed "The World's Longest Department Store" and several blocks on Steinway Street are unofficially known as Little Middle East, with many shisha (water pipe) cafes, delis, and other Middle Eastern stores.
While in Astoria visit the city's largest pool, the Astoria Pool, the movie industry's largest East Coast production center, the Kaufman Astoria Studios, or the Museum of the Moving Image.
