This was one of the best shows I have seen in a long time, besides Downton of course. Please repeat it again so I can tell my friends who have not seen it. It was mind boggling to watch this and to think I was living thru this time of absurd opinions of women. I wil never forget an uncle saying to me – “Are you a women’s libber” with disgust.

That opinion of women has not gone away.
I’m only 36, and still have to act submissive to avoid the label of “uppity” in my office.
That’s fine with me; they’re a bunch of miserable slobs who aren’t too bright, anyway.
