Who is Angelina Grimke?

The daughter of a wealthy slave-holding family in Charleston, South Carolina, Angelina Grimke believed that slavery was a sin and a stain on the nation. In 1829, she moved north to Philadelphia and became a leader in the abolitionist movement.
