THIRTEEN, the YWCA Bergen County and the National Coalition of 100 Black Women Bergen/Passaic present a special screening of highlights from, Half the Sky: Turning Oppression into Opportunity for Women Worldwide followed by a panel discussion moderated by Half the Sky Executive Producer Jamie Gordon and featuring New Jersey Assemblywoman Valerie Vainieri Huttle and Anti-Human Trafficking Advocate Ingrid Johnson.

This was a great opportunity for NCBW to do this program with the YWCA and WNET 13 tto kick off women’s history month to raise awareness and to educate the community on this very important issue in NJ. Everyone should do something to ensure that this legislatiaon being sponsored by Assemblywoman V. Huttle on human trafficking is passed and signed by the Governor.
