Religion & Ethics Newsweekly - "2008 Campaign: Abortion, Palin and Religion"
2008 Campaign: Abortion, Palin and Religion Perspectives, Original Broadcast Date: September 12, 2008 (Show #1202):

Thirty-five years after Roe v. Wade, abortion is still a volatile political issue for both parties. The Democrats are struggling with how to maintain their very strong position on pro-choice, while at the same time trying to encourage and appeal to people who are against abortion -- including some Catholics and evangelicals. And on the Republican side, the selection of Sarah Palin, who opposes abortion even in cases of rape and incest, has clearly mobilized the Party's social conservative base. Guest anchor Deborah Potter talks with Kim Lawton about the impact of social issues -- particularly abortion -- on the presidential campaign.
