HOW THE BEATLES ROCKED THE KREMLIN
On November 9th, WNET.ORG will air a special one-hour documentary about The Beatles to coincide with the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall. How the Beatles Rocked the Kremlin tells the extraordinary and untold story of how the Beatles punctured the Iron Curtain. In a personal journey through Russia by award-winning director Leslie Woodhead, he tells in first-person accounts the story of a secret revolution which contributed to the fall of communism.

SECRETS OF THE DEAD: MUMBAI MASSACRE
THIRTEEN’ marks the first anniversary of Mumbai’s terrorist attacks with a powerful documentary weaving personal accounts from the survivors caught up in the siege and examining how modern communications saved the victims and aided the perpetrators. The film premieres November 25 on PBS.

THIRTEEN brings two back-to-back Great Performances specials just in time for the holidays. Everyone’s favorite “Hitman” David Foster joins superstar Andrea Bocelli for a new Christmas concert of holiday classics airing on Thanksgiving night in Andrea Bocelli & David Foster: My Christmas. Following is Sting: A Winter’s Night, featuring composer, singer, actor and activist Sting as he travels to his hometown of Newcastle-upon-Tyne in northern England to records a diverse collection of songs, carols and lullabies spanning the centuries.
