Tsunami Relief Efforts in Queens
It was the one of worst natural disasters in history. Without warning the sea that had given so much to people of South East Asia had brutally taken it all away. The pictures of the devastation and carnage created a worldwide response. Although thousands of miles away, the shock of this disaster was deeply felt at Masjid Al-Hikmah, a small mosque in Queens with ties to the Indonesian community.
