Murray at MoMA
Elizabeth Murray's paintings combine a unique blend of color, shape and form. She often breaks of the tradition of rectangular canvasses, mixing different sizes and shapes in combination to make one cohesive piece. Some of her paintings look more like painted sculptures -- jutting out of the wall. Murray talks about her life, work and making it as an artist in New York. A comprehensive exhibition of work can be seen at the Museum Of Modern Art until January 9, 2006.
