New York Voices and New York Now team up to offer special coverage of Governor Paterson's address on the state fiscal crisis. Experts say the Governor is appealing directly to the public because he has failed to convince the State Legislature to make the radical cuts that are necessary to balance the budget.
Hosts Rafael Pi Roman and New York Now's Susan Arbetter will be joined by New York City Comptroller William Thompson and a panel of experts (including Kathryn Wylde of Partnership For New York City and Dan Cantor of Working Families Party), who react to the governor's speech and analyze what it mean to New Yorkers upstate and down.
