During the warmer months, artist Joe Forte sets up shop on Thompson between Bleecker and 3rd St in Greenwich Village. There he sketches street scenes and sells his art to whomever passes by. Joe doesn’t keep a New York City address; he lives in his Chevy van and spends a third of the year in his native Canada and another third in Key West, Florida. He’s been coming to New York for fourteen years.
