Being a war bride was tough going. America was serious about being at war. A 1943 honeymoon in that honeymoon Mecca of Meridian Miss. was a cultural experience for an NYC chic. Taken for a hooker by a cop when in the public park with my brand new husband & told 'I said stay out of here' as we rested in the shade of a tree. It was no friendlier when we re-visited, in search of the Lamar Hotel, now police HQ, & memories in 1991.

Please tell America that IWO JIMA was returned to Japan in 1973 (?) as part of a trade treaty via Sen. Javits.

Russia still enjoys its 2 week victory islands.

Bring them home today!

We are passionate Americans.

My husband served in the Pacific and came home to a proud America & enjoyed educational benefits that served a prosperous nation, in technical achievement.
