Larry Zuckerberg Says:

What I can’t believe has not been addressed.
Mr. Paulson and the politicians want $700 billion or more from us to purchase assets when indeed they intend to purchase liabilities. This is an insult and is disrespectful to say the least.
We are in this mess because of the mismanagement of greedy executives and boards allowing excessively risky practices. Are we to be appeased that maybe these people will not get a golden parachute? Does this mean they will be punished by only getting their multi-million dollar salaries, bonuses, and benefits? If such incompetent management deems we bail out their company, shouldn’t the management be fired and replaced as would Average Joe employee if they performed in this manner?
The administration tells us that immediate action must be taken because we are in a crisis. Isn’t that why we should take thoughtful action? We were told immediate action must be taken forthe Iraq crisis because they were tied to Al Qaida, they attacked the World Trade Center, they imported uranium, and they had WMDs.
We have been told everything is fine until Bear Stearns. After that everything was fine until Fannnie Mae and Freddy Mac. Then everything was in control until Lehman Brothers and again until AIG….
Maybe the real crisis isn’t being addressed? Maybe if politicians and those in the public sector tell the truth and be upfront actual problems will be acknowledged and start to get resolved. These people are obsessed with trying to tell us what they think we want to hear. They think they disillusion us when infact they disillusion themselves because they think they tell us what they think we want them to tell us. Maybe if they began to tell us what we really want to hear, the truth, the correct issues will get addressed and hopefully resolved.
