Mail Us Your National Parks Stories
This fall, we’ll be airing Ken Burns’ newest documentary, “The National Parks: America’s Best Idea”. We also want to produce our own program based on experiences of our viewers.
We’re interested in personal stories involving any of the 58 national parks across the country. Do you, or someone you know, have a story to share? Whether it’s with home movies of your childhood trip to Yellowstone or snapshots from Ellis Island, we’d love to see them and make them a part of our program.
Here’s how to submit your story:

By mailing in photographic and video material to WNET.ORG as part of the “Mail Us Your National Parks Stories” feature of this web site, you affirm that your submission, including text, digital and print images and video, is original to you, that you hold all necessary rights to this work or have permission from the copyright holder, or the work is in the public domain, and that the submission does not defame or otherwise violate the rights, copyrights, trademarks, publicity, privacy, or reputation of any third party.
Under this agreement you will retain ownership of your submission. Stories and comments submitted and approved through the WNET web site may be available for public viewing on the “Viewers share their stories” features at all participating PBS affiliate stations.

We collect personally-identifying information such as your name, location, and address when you mail us your visual material. Please note, your name and location may be displayed in connection with any use of your submission by PBS or parties authorized by PBS. Your contact information will not be shared or sold to a third party.
