You never know what you'll see in one of my favorite New York public spaces.
The author's parents — Yona Sabar and Stephanie Kruger — on Thanksgiving 1966, in Stephanie’s parents’ apartment in Greenwich Village. Yona had picked up Stephanie in nearby Washington Square Park a few weeks earlier. They were married in January 1967.
