Line too long? Rain too strong?

In the final hours of the Met’s Alexander McQueen exhibit, Savage Beauty,” thousands of people from around the world braved 90-plus temperatures, pelting rain and four-hour lines to get a glimpse of the late-designers whimsical work.

Not suprisingly, many people quit the queues half-way through.
