“Voices From Within:” Sing Sing Inmates Address Gun Violence

April 09, 2015 at 11:30 am

What if a man serving life in prison – for taking a life – could actually save a life? That’s the question that Dateline NBC producer Dan Slepian poses in a six-minute short film called Voices from Within.

It’s part of an education initiative to address gun violence through the voices of inmates at New York’s Sing Sing Correctional Facility. Slepian joined host Jack Ford to dicsuss his project.
