Albany Public TV reporter Jenna Flanagan updates the findings of scientists in the Hudson Valley who are searching for clues about how ticks transport diseases. Flanagan joins host Jack Ford in studio for more on the spread of ticks in the region and how you can protect yourself.

New York Public Radio station WNYC brings its financial news segment, Money Talking, to television this week.  Host Charlie Herman talks to The New York Times columnist Joe Nocera and TIME magazine assistant managing editor and CNN economic analyst Rana Foroohar about planning for retirement.

Allan Chernoff, former CNN Senior Correspondent, talks to host Rafael Pi Roman about his new book, The Tailors of Tomaszow, the story of the Holocaust in one Polish town and his mother’s survival.

And AFROPUNK is back for its 10th anniversary, August 23rd and 24th. The multicultural festival is bringing alternative music, film and fashion to the forefront in Brooklyn. Reporter Rick Karr has a preview of what’s in store this year.
