NJ First Lady Mary Pat Christie Starts Relief Fund

First Lady Mary Pat Christie of New Jersey  speaks with NJToday’s Managing Editor Mike Schneider about the devastation in her state.

Governor Chris Christie and First Lady Mary Pat Christie have spearheaded a relief fund called Hurricane Sandy New Jersey Relief Fund. So far, it has raised more than $18 million from 9,000 people and corporations. The goal is to supplement victims for the expenses that FEMA and insurance companies cannot cover.  Donations can be made on the fund’s website.
