John Mollenkopf directs the Center for Urban Research at The Graduate Center, CUNY, which organizes research and information on issues facing large cities. In this extended interview with Metrofocus host Rafael Pi Roman, he discusses findings of the center’s CUNY Mapping Service, the shifting classes and cultures of New York City, rising immigrant groups and the political significance of these developments.
