Former New York Yankees PR director and historian Marty Appel talks baseball history with MetroFocus host Rafael Pi Roman, from Babe Ruth to Derek Jeter.

Historian Marty Appel joined the Yankees in 1968 when he was hired to answer Mickey Mantle’s fan mail. He went on to become the team’s  PR director. Appel joined MetroFocus host Rafael Pi Roman to share insights from his book “Pinstripe Empire: The New York Yankees From Before the Babe to After the Boss.”
