Tunnels between boroughs are closed, seven subway lines are flooded and few New Yorkers will be going to work on Tuesday. Nearly 550,000 residents were without power as of Tuesday and hospitals have evacuated patients.  We’re tapping you, the audience, to show us what’s happening in the Tri-State area, how your neighborhood fared and how you’ll be spending your time today.

If you’re using social media, use the hashtag #SandyNY, #SandyNYC, #SandyNJ or #SandyCT and we’ll try to add your comments and photos to our Storify feature online or on-air during our special live broadcast on Tuesday at 9:30 p.m., when MetroFocus joins NJTV in covering Hurricane Sandy news.
