September 19, 2012 at 4:00 am

Find out about some of the secrets buried deep in Central Park. Adrian Benepe has had years to explore: this summer he ended his 10 years as New York City’s Parks and Recreation Commissioner, a post he held decades after picking up litter as a park employee when he was in high school. While the Great Lawn and the Boat House may be Central Park’s signature attractions, there are many lesser known treasures to discover.

The September episode of MetroFocus premieres Sept. 19 at 7:30 p.m. on WLIW, Sept. 20 at 8:30 p.m. on THIRTEEN, and Sept. 25 at 10 p.m. on NJ TV.
