Israel’s Consul General Ido Aharoni on Israel and the New York Region

Consul General of Israel in New York Ido Aharoni joins Rafael Pi Roman for an interview on the September episode of MetroFocus.  In his interview, he speaks about cultivating ties between communities in the New York region and Israel, immigration to Israel and the country’s growing start-up economy.  He also addresses Israel’s goals, such as welcoming more tourists and finding ways to convey “soft power” through diplomacy.
