Robert Verdi: My Weekend Gauntlet of Galleries

February 14, 2012 at 4:00 am

Living in New York allows me the opportunity to be an art gallery hopper on the weekends. There are several I visit fairly regularly in Chelsea. Matthew Marks Gallery on West 22nd Street is showing a collection of Terry Winters paintings through April. Winters incorporates mathematical concepts into his work so there are a lot of interesting geometric shapes on the canvas. Other favorites include The Pace Gallery on West 25th Street, the Von Lintel Gallery on West 23rd Street and the Marlborough Gallery, which has an upcoming show of sculptures by David Rodríguez Caballero.[google-map-sc width=”590″ height=”250″ zoom=”16″ focus=”all”]

Robert Verdi is a celebrity stylist and television host. He is also one of the founders of First Comes Fashion, a website that livestreams runway shows during Fashion Week.
