Educational workshops at The New Victory Theater are fun for children and adults alike. Instructors teach music making, dance and movement, playwriting, set design and more. Photo courtesy of the New Victory Theater.

I love bringing my kids to The New Victory Theater. It offers a great and affordable way to expose children to culture and the arts in a way that is both entertaining and educational. New Victory caters to children and their families and does a wonderful job of engaging kids of all ages. It has a diverse calendar of performances that are lively, captivating and inspiring. The theater even offers educational workshops in music making, dance and movement, playwriting, set design and more. My kids always leave New Victory with their imaginations sparked. The theater also hires young people to work both as ushers and alongside the staff and crew.

Since 2009, Richard R. Buery, Jr. has served as the president and chief executive officer of The Children’s Aid Society, a not-for-profit organization established to serve the children of New York City.
