Leslie Koch: Go to Court!

October 6, 2011 1:30 PM

Go to Court! Court Street in Brooklyn, that is. Here’s a perfect afternoon: First, stop in Bookcourt, a great independent bookshop that often hosts readings and events. Then stroll down to Court Pastry Shop for an Italian ice or pick up coffee at D’Amicos and spend the rest of the day window shopping on Atlantic Avenue.

Leslie Koch is president of The Trust for Governors Island, a 172-acre island and former military base in New York Harbor. She is responsible for the planning, redevelopment and on-going operation of the 150 acres of the Island owned by The Trust. A native New Yorker, Ms. Koch lives in Brooklyn.
