As someone who grew up near Central Park, I have always loved New York parks. So, I sometimes take a slightly longer detour on my way to or from work just to walk through Washington Square Park. There are always a variety of street performances.  Some are more circus-like, others more refined and some of the most entertaining were not intended to be performances at all. Sure Washington Square Park is a fraction of the size of Central Park, but I love the energy and the excitement and it always puts a smile on my face.

Dan Abrams is the founder of the Abrams Media Network and its seven media properties: Geekosystem, Gossip Cop, Mediaite, Mogulite, SportsGrid,  Styleite, and The Mary Sue. He is also the Legal Analyst for ABC News and a substitute anchor for Good Morning America.  Previously, he was General Manager of MSNBC and hosted “The Abrams Report” and “Verdict with Dan Abrams”on MSNBC.
