As an unabashed theater enthusiast, I average at least one play per week. My idea of a perfect evening out is to enjoy dinner at one of my favorite haunts — the Socarrat Paella Bar on 19th Street between Seventh and Eighth Avenues — then head to a show. New York City being the theater capital of the world, don’t limit yourself to Broadway.  Go uptown, downtown, off-Broadway, off-off-Broadway or Central Park!

Georgina M. Nichols was appointed Interim Director of El Museo del Barrio in June 2010. Her responsibilities in this capacity include managerial oversight of all aspects of the Museum, including programming and fundraising.
