Stumptown Coffee Roasters makes terrific coffee and it’s a great New York experience too. It’s located in the Ace Hotel has marble floors, plays great music, and has nice big windows, so you can sip while watching the city rush by from behind the glass. And if you want to really relax, you can step right into the hotel lobby where there are several very comfortable chairs.

Christine C. Quinn has been city council speaker since 2006. She represents the council’s third district which includes Chelsea, Greenwich Village, and Hell’s Kitchen, as well as parts of SoHo and Murray Hill. She was born in Glen Cove, Long Island.
