The High Line is a great addition to the city, but I love the roof terrace at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Spring through fall it offers a quintessential, ever-changing view of New York. You can run in, take the elevator up, breathe in and out, and suddenly be calmed. There are usually some interesting sculpture pieces there as well.

Eli Zabar operates a number of food stores and restaurants on the Upper East Side including E.A.T., Eli’s Bread, and Eli’s restaurant.
