A Walk Through The Bronx
The Last Opening Day at Yankee Stadium
April 1st, 2008 at 3:04 pm

April 1st marks the last opening day at Yankee Stadium. After the 2008 season, “the house that Ruth built” will become the house that Steinbrenner demolished. Back in 2005, a few months after the Yankees announced plans for a new stadium, David Hartman and Barry Lewis took A WALK THROUGH THE BRONX and asked former Yankee skipper Joe Torre what it’s like to work in the legendary ballpark. Click on “Yankee Stadium” in this interactive map of the Bronx to watch the video.
