2010 Mark Twain Prize Awarded to Tina Fey
This year’s 13th Annual Kennedy Center Mark Twain Prize for American Humor will honor actress, writer, producer, and comedienne Tina Fey. Taped at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts on November 9, the special will feature Fey’s colleagues past and present, including Fred Armisen, Steve Carell, Jimmy Fallon, Steve Martin, Jane Krakowski, Tracy Morgan, Amy Poehler, and many others.
The Kennedy Center Mark Twain Prize for American Humor was created in 1998 to recognize comedians who have had an impact on American society in ways similar to distinguished author Mark Twain. Past winners include Bill Cosby, George Carlin, Steve Martin, and Whoopi Goldberg.
The 13th Annual Mark Twain Prize for American Humor will air on Sunday, November 14 at 9 p.m. on THIRTEEN.
