Season premieres Tuesday, October 13 at 9pm on THIRTEEN

FRONTLINE examines U.S. counter-insurgency strategy in Afghanistan and Pakistan — a fight that promises to be longer and more costly than most Americans understand — through interviews with top commanders on the ground, embeds with U.S. forces and fresh reporting from Washington.

I was surfing channels early morning Oct 15, 2009 when I came across your Front line story, and I have to say it was excellent. First of all I must express my Sympathy to Mr. Sharp and his family, comrades and friends, please forgive me but I don’t remember his rank and title. But I do know he was a human that did the best he could do with what he had, for everyone else.

I am not the one to write much about anything but some other things bothered me very much. You published some amazing facts, but one stands out that was not explained in detail. The Drug harvesting is tremendous and in my view this is what the war is really about. Everybody wants to get paid and whoever came up with that title is WRONG flat out!! This is America’s War because we are the ones living and dying for everyone else.
It doesn’t have to be this way, we still have a choice. America must Stop its drug use; I believe not if but “when” this is understood and achieved we can have some Peace. It has to be all or nothing, as it was for Mr. Sharp.
    GIVE+LOVE=LIFE
    Stay Strong America Peace
