We are in a crisis now. Everyone should have the same coverage from the President down to the homeless, young and old- every citizen of the US and those working toward citizenship.

The cost of doing nothing is far too great.

Question about health care: What about the unemployed – how can they get insurance? Also, currently any one who owns a home, does not qualify for medicaid health insurance, If they should get it from the city/gov’t, a lein is placed on the home and the city/gov’t will in the future be reimbursed through sale of the home.will this policy remain?

Why didn’t your website carry the Republican rebuttal? That doesn’t seem too fair…. PBS — you’ve just lost a donor…

I MOVED FROM AN ALMOST 100% MEDICAID COVERAGE STATE TO A CASH ONLY OR 80% STATE COVERAGE WITH MINIMAL MEDICAID DOCTORS AVAILABLE. I STILL HAVE THE HANDICAP/DISABILITIES AT A WAY HIGHER COST TO ME IF I CAN FIND A DOCTOR. WHY DOESN’T MEDICAID HAVE THE SAME COVERAGE FOR THOSE WERE ELIGIBLE IN A DIFFERENT STATEq THIS SHOULD COVER JUST ABOUT ANYONE IN DIRE NEED.

I have Health Insurance, it’s a federal program as I’m employed by the government. It’s terrible! I won’t even go to the doctor. The last time I went for a regular visit my coverage only paid 25% of the bill doctor’s bill then I needed a lab sample and this I had to pay the whole amount. From the experince I have, dealing with a Federal policy already. Good Luck to the one’s that are looking towards the Federal Government for help in this critical issue. Helpfully they will help all of us.

I DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY YOU CONTINUE TO RAISE HEALTH CARE COVERAGE AND CO-PAYS TILL YOU CANT AFFORD TO GO TO THE DOCTOR EVEN THOUGH YOU HAVE MEDICAL INSURANCE, THER HAS TO BE A MEDIUM…..
