Thirteen/WNET New York has an immediate need for a creative individual with client service and desktop publishing experience to work with an active team of media sales directors in Thirteen's Local Corporate Marketing department. The individual selected will be responsible for designing, writing and producing marketing proposals, media kits, powerpoint presentations, and post-reports for advertising agencies and corporations.
He or she will also manage and serve as liaison with sponsors of the station's annual conference for tri-state K-12 educators. This position requires a detail-oriented, individual with extensive organizational and communication skills.
Applicants must have a BA/BS degree, preferably in Marketing, Media, Communications and 3 years experience in the related fields of event marketing, advertising, publishing, or public relations. Applicants should be proficient in by Microsoft Word, and have Mac experience, particularly Quark Express, Photoshop and Illustrator.
