Administrative Coordinator
Station Support
Thirteen/WNET New York is seeking a computer-savvy individual with administrative experience to serve as Administrative Coordinator of Station Support. Station Support is a fast-paced environment with a wide variety of responsibilities. The unit is comprised of several departments including Fundraising and Special Events, On-Air Fundraising production and administration, Online Fundraising & Promotion, Member & Viewer Relations, Volunteer Services, and Shop Thirteen.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Administrative Coordinator will administrate support work for the Executive Director, including answering phones and responding to inquiries as necessary; drafting and word processing correspondence; and filing for the office. He or she will also provide assistance to the Senior Director of On-Air Fundraising administration. The Administrative Coordinator will process and track vendor bills and contracts; process and respond to select member and viewer inquiries; provide on-site assistance at specified promotional and fundraising events; prepare and distribute monthly reports, including the station calendar and specific pledge documents; and provide assistance to other areas of Station Support as assigned.

Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. They should be proficient in the use of a PC and Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Candidates with experience using Microsoft PowerPoint and Access or other database software will be preferred. Candidates must exhibit the highest level of professionalism and be comfortable interfacing with prominent individuals. Please note that the individual selected may be asked to work overtime hours some weekday evenings and occasional weekends.
