Thirteen/WNET New York is seeking an individual with strong analytical skills to join its Online Fundraising & Promotion team. The Analyst chosen will support the department's efforts to effectively utilize email and web-based marketing tools to raise money, recruit new members and viewers, and cultivate stronger relationships with existing Thirteen supporters.
Reporting to the Director of Online Fundraising & Promotion, the individual selected will be responsible for designing and compiling reports tracking key online fundraising & promotion metrics, including: email list size, list growth and unsubscribes; e-newsletter and email campaign performance; online donor and e-commerce analysis and trends; and online conversion rates resulting from e-marketing campaigns. He or she will be expected to report and analyze the results of special campaigns and e-marketing efforts; track and analyze testing strategies to maximize results; and assist in the development of online surveys, reports and analysis. In addition, he or she will assist in the use of Convio eCRM, content-management and e-commerce tools, and in the production of email and web communications. The Analyst will be responsible for accessing, updating and maintaining subscriber and member records; helping to respond to high volumes of user email inquiries; assisting in the development of e-marketing and recruitment opportunities; and performing other assigned administrative tasks.
To be considered, you must demonstrate strong analytical skills, proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Access, and, at minimum, a basic understanding of web applications, HTML, Dreamweaver and Photoshop. Also required is experience with Convio or other eCRM tools, and familiarity with e-marketing, stats, and best practices. Applicants must demonstrate strong writing and organizational skills, attention to detail, and an ability to thrive in a fast paced and multi-tasking environment. You must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. Candidates preferred are those with nonprofit fundraising experience.
