Thirteen/WNET New York seeks an individual with two (2) years of promotion, advertising and marketing experience to serve as Promotions Associate in its Advertising and Promotion department. If you have hands-on experience working on marketing campaigns, and you're interested in learning more, this may be a great opportunity for you.
The individual selected will promote Thirteen's local and national programming, educational services, marketing and corporate activities. Specifically, he or she will coordinate distribution of promotion materials; traffic online, print and broadcast advertising materials; identify promotional opportunities on the Web as well as in traditional media; and research and measure key target audiences. The Promotions Associate will work with producers and other departments. Other administrative duties will be required as needed.
To be considered for this position, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Media or a related discipline, and you must be familiar with a range of media. You must demonstrate exceptional oral and written communication skills and PC proficiency. Applicants must be organized, detail-oriented and able to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
